The cooperation with Intervolve
In 2009 Telengy VROM celebrated its fifth anniversary by making a so called learning journey to Intervolve's project in Ethiopia.  An ordinary lustrum party was found too ordinary. Telengy VROM chose to give social relevance, content and meaningful experience to the celebrations. Employee's commitment and inspiration, as well as the support to a conrete project for development with tangible results was the central focus.

 

The journey took place in a short week in May/June 2009 and during that week the consultants worked on a number of subprojects:

 

• Recreational vision for Awassa city
• Explore the possibilities for spending the 25,000 Euro sponsor money
• Establish and decorate a community information center
• Design and play the board game 'Utopia' for community participation
• Visit an elementary school
• Furnish and decorate the day care center

 

Intervolve wants to thank Telengy VROM for the large sponsor amount. This enables not only the day care center to make a big leap forward, but it is also a boost for the income generating groups. We also would like to thank Telengy VROM for this joyful and inspiring trip and we hope for good cooperation in the future.
